Angela Yatlin Gonzalez
Angela (Yatlin) Gonzalez is Koyukon Athabascan, originally from Huslia, Alaska. Since 2007, Angela has been the communications coordinator at the Rural Alaska Community Action Program, Inc. (RurAL CAP). Prior to RurAL CAP, Angela was the membership director at KNBA 90.3 FM. Angela has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Tulsa. Angela served on the board of the Alaska Native Professional Association from 2004 to 2013. Angela is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, American Marketing Association-Alaska Chapter, and the Native Emerging Leaders Forum. In 2007, Angela was an award recipient in the Top 40 Under 40 for the Alaska Journal of Commerce and the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce. She is a graduate of the 2001 Leadership Anchorage program.
Angela enjoys taking photos and blogging about the Athabascan culture and Alaska Native topics. Angela and her husband, Sarbelio, have two children, Janessa and Ermelina.
